Pioneer's Legacy Creates Stillman Park

Pendleton Citizens are fortunate to have excellent parks to enjoy and Pendleton Foundation Trust continues to support Pendleton parks because of the generous contributions from citizens’ estate planning, memorials, gifts and other donations.
Stillman Park is named in honor of Minnie Stillman, pioneer Pendletonian who willed her estate to the people of Pendleton, through the Pendleton Foundation Trust.

Her home was where the park now stands. Through the years the Foundation has continued to provide money for improvements. The park has play equipment, picnic facilities rest rooms, tennis court (built in 1951), horseshoe pits, covered grill and eating area.

Can you name all 18 city parks in Pendleton?
Brownfield, Grecian Heights, Kiwanis, May, McKay Neighborhood, Pendleton Air (Lower Park), Community, Pioneer, Rice Blakey, Roy Raley, Sergeant City, Sherwood, Stillman, Til- Taylor, Vincent, Depot (Behind the Chamber Office) Centennial (Main street & Dorion), Aldrich

It has been possible to accomplish numerous, wonderful projects in Pendleton because of the generosity of many supporters of the Pendleton Foundation Trust.
